The Rise and Fall is the sixty-seventh episode of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale. It was released on November 16, 2023.

Synopsis[]

Opaline overwhelms everypony and steals all their cutie marks, but they come together and turn the tables on her.

Plot[]

Broadcasting a message across Equestria, Opaline boasts about her sinister plan to steal the cutie marks, which terrifies everypony. With the aid of the magically enslaved Jade and Lava, she successfully strips nearly everypony of their cutie marks, including Sunny's friends despite their effort to resist and her former servant, Misty, who finally reveals that she's not on Opaline's side. All of the stolen cutie mark magic gives Opaline immense power that makes her even stronger than before.

However, as Opaline revels in her triumph during the broadcast, Sunny emerges in her Alicorn form to challenge her alone. Yet, Opaline, empowered by the stolen cutie marks, swiftly overwhelms Sunny, causing even her Alicorn powers to fade as her own mark is seized.

Witnessing this confrontation on their phone screens, the rest of Mane 6 sprang into action, rallying the ponies of Equestria. Together, they gather their remaining magic and unite around the Together Trees, harmonizing in the uplifting melody of "Magic in Us". Their combined strength triggers the Together Trees within the castle to capture her with their roots, forcibly stripping her of both her own cutie mark and stolen powers.

With Opaline defeated, the stolen cutie marks return to their rightful owners and peace is restored to Equestria once more.
