History
On September 17, 2020, Hasbro allegedly attended an online Russian licensing summit where it was announced that a 44-minute special would premiere in spring 2022, followed by the release of the first season of an Untitled G5 Television Show in fall that year.[1]
On February 25, 2021, it was stated in a Hasbro investor event that a 44-minute special was to follow the release of My Little Pony: A New Generation.[2]
