Shining Armor was a male unicorn pony and a former Captain of the Royal Guard in Ancient Equestria. He is the son of Night Light and Twilight Velvet, the older brother of Twilight Sparkle, the adoptive older brother of Spike, the husband of Princess Cadance, the father of Flurry Heart and the adoptive nephew-in-law of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
