Secret Canter is the fortieth episode of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale. It was released on December 15, 2022, although the English version was uploaded one hour prior to the usual release time.
Synopsis[]
Izzy makes the Mane 5 do a "Secret Canter".
Plot[]
The ponies and Sparky are decorating for the holidays when the lights go out, and Izzy barges in with a hood. She makes everyone do a "Secret Canter" (Bridlewood's version of Secret Santa). They all draw names from a hat and craft a gift for that pony from scratch. Everyone but Izzy struggles due to their lack of experience with crafting.
Later, everyone receives their gifts, but the senders are obvious due to having materials all over them. Hitch gets a photo album, Zipp gets a magnifying glass made of candy wrappers, Pipp gets safety goggles, Sunny gets a flat cake, and Izzy gets a diary.
However, all the gifts fall apart, but Izzy says that it's the thought that counts. However, Sparky then sneezes and changes the broken gifts into perfect items with his magic dragon fire, but Izzy's diary remains the same.
Izzy then points out some extra gifts for each of them. The others open them and they all turn out to be crafting belts, which Izzy repeatedly says are from her. She then takes notes in her new diary, while reciting each word out loud.
