Synopsis[]
Pipp creates a very addictive perfume, but the demand for the flower ingredient upsets the delicate balance of the forest in which it came from.
Plot[]
Pipp releases a new brand of perfume at Mane Melody, but it produces a stink that attracts animals to the salon, and drives customers away. A flashback reveals that Izzy had accidentally knocked trash into the perfume mix, causing the stench. Izzy tries to make it up to Pipp by taking through Bridlewood to find new ingredients. But on their exploration, they discover a blue flower they never saw before. The find that they smell like the favorite things of whoever smells them. Pipp decides to grab them all, but Izzy advises her to respect the flower patch and only take one.
The resulting perfume turns out to be a hit, but Pipp quickly runs out of ingredients. She returns to the flower patch to get more, but gets greedy and picks the entire field clean, causing causing the Bridlewood ecosystem to destabilize, killing trees and fracturing the Earth. When Izzy arrives, Pipp confesses her actions. Izzy explains in order to restore the ecosystem, they need to replant the flowers, but in order to do so, they would need a small army to replant the flowers. Inspired, Pipp gets an idea and uses the perfume Izzy ruined to summon a group of animals, who bring Sunny and Hitch to the field. Sunny and Hitch use their magic to repair the Earth, while the animals replant the flowers. The surrounding forestry rebalances itself, and Bridlewood flourishes with life once again. As a result, a giant tree grows in the center of the flower patch. It gives Pipp several flower petals to thank her. Using the petals, Pipp produces more perfume, and it becomes a big hit. She even promises to plant a tree for every bottle sold, and summons the critters to help out.
