Rocky Riff is a male Pegasus pony in the fifth generation of My Little Pony. He first appears in Welcome to Mane Melody from My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale and was later introduced in My Little Pony: Make Your Mark as well. He works alongside Pipp and Jazz at Mane Melody, as a singer and manestylist. He is Jazz's love interest.
Personality[]
Rocky helps Pipp with Mane Melody and will always cheer her up or offer help when Pipp needs it. He is a flamboyant stallion with a playful demeanor who is enthusiastic about all things fabulous, especially manes. Rocky has a playful rivalry with his best friend Jazz.
Appearance[]
Rocky is a cream Pegasus with a white chest, pearl hooves, and sparkly golden wings. He wears a pendant of a golden orange electric guitar. He has a mulberry colored tail and slicked back mane, mulberry eyes, a beauty mark on his right cheek and thick black eyebrows, one of which has a notch. His cutie mark is a mulberry music note with a stem shaped like a comb, surrounded by three gold sparkles.
In Make Your Mark, his mane has a red-and-orange streak on his left side and his eyes are more of a pinkish purple. His mane and tail also fade to an orange gradient.

In Jazz Hearts Rocky, Rocky asks Jazz to go with him to the Mane and Hooves Expo. In Bunnisi Beauties, he and Jazz are overwhelmed with the effort of styling multiple Bunnisi for the Eggstravaganza occasion. In P + P = BFFS, Rocky is seen riding on a boat with Jazz.

My Little Pony: Make Your Mark[]
Chapter 1[]
In Make Your Mark, Rocky performs Everything is Gonna be OK alongside Pipp and Jazz.
Chapter 2[]
In Izzy Does It, Rocky observes as Pipp struggles to come up with a new song. In Portrait of a Princess, Rocky welcomes Queen Haven to Mane Melody. In The Cutie Mark Mix-Up, Rocky briefly appears talking to Hitch. In Hoof Done It?, Rocky names some manestyles to Misty as she attempts to hide from Zipp. He also makes a cameo in Have You Seen This Dragon?.
Chapter 3[]
In Winter Wishday, Rocky briefly appears celebrating Winter Wishday with the rest of the ponies of Maretime Bay.
Chapter 4[]
In Bridlewoodstock, Rocky and Jazz work as the stylists for the music festival. They also help the Dreamlands rehearse in Mane Melody before the main event started.
In Top Remodel, Rocky is among the ponies to approach Sunny and Izzy with a suggestion as to what to do with the defunct Canterlogic building.
In Sunny Side Up, Rocky is one of the audience members of the show "Sunny Side Up".
In The Manesquerade Ball, Rocky and Jazz are helping the Mane 5 with makeups and got invited to the Manesquerade Ball too. Later at the ball, Rocky and Jazz help with the music for the unity dance.
Chapter 5[]
In Nightmare on Mane Street, he and Jazz get very competitive about winning a Nightmare Night contest.
Chapter 6[]
In The Isle of Scaly, Opaline has Rocky's cutie mark in her collection of stolen cutie marks. In Roots of All Evil Pt. 1, he is present when the Mane 6 arrived back to Maretime Bay atop dragons and pointed to the Together Tree, explaining to Sunny and her friends that Opaline has attacked Maretime Bay in their absence, realizing that she found a way into Twilight's protection spell. In Roots of All Evil Pt. 2, he is seen joining everypony singing in support of Sunny, and regains his cutie mark upon Opaline's defeat.

- He, Jazz, Posey, Seashell, Grandma Figgy, Peach Fizz, Glory, Sweets, Toots and Sugar Moonlight are the only known ponies to not have their cutie marks stolen by Opaline in Roots of All Evil.
- He is the second pegasus love interest in G5.
