Pinkie Pie was an Earth pony who represents the element of Laughter and one of the six Guardians of Harmony.
She is presumed dead by the start of the G5 era, having not shown up in other contexts than Sunny Starscout's imaginary playtime at the start of My Little Pony: A New Generation.
Personality[]
Pinkie Pie is wacky, goofy, and always a ball of sunshine and positivity. She is hyperactive and excitable, if a bit eccentric. Despite her extreme extroversion, she is afraid of her friends abandoning her or replacing her.
Appearance[]
Pinkie Pie has a light pink coat, cyan eyes, and a bubbly, curly, hot pink mane and tail. Her cutie mark is two cyan balloons with yellow string and one yellow balloon with a cyan string.
Concept Art[]
Earlier G5 ideas featured redesigns of the Generation 4 characters from the cartoon. Pinkie Pie's wings are perhaps inspired by G4 concept art, where she was originally a pegasus. In the G5 concept art, her pegasus wings are usually very fluffy or floppy, a stark contrast from Rainbow Dash's sharp wings. Her hair seems to get even poofier, and she keeps her pink all over color scheme.

Pinkie Pie and Applejack
Pinkie Pie appears at the start of the movie as Sunny, Sprout, and Hitch play with the toys of the guardians of friendship. She whoops and vows to spread love before becoming disturbed by Rarity (under Sprout's control) threatening to fry everyone's brains.
