Netflix is a video streaming service launched in January 2007, initially as a side-project to a DVD postal rental service. It was initially available in the United States of America, gradually expanding to more countries before becoming available in most countries in 2016.
Netflix holds the main rights and premiere to My Little Pony: A New Generation (except in South Korea and Russia), and holds worldwide exclusivity rights to all chapters of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark.
My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale arrived on Netflix on March 27, 2023 (initially episodes 1-20; with the South Korean release delayed to April 10), having previously been exclusive for a year to YouTube. On its premiere there, many YouTube dubs were absent (Norwegian, Slovak, Hungarian, Vietnamese, Malay, Indonesia, Cantonese), leading to an inability to see the show if Netflix had been set to one of those menu languages.
