My Little Pony: Make Your Mark is a computer-animated children's TV series. It serves as a sequel to the 2021 film My Little Pony: A New Generation. It made its debut on Netflix on May 26, 2022, with the first special episode "Make Your Mark". The next 8 episodes, following after the events of the special, will release on September 26, 2022. It will be animated by Atomic Cartoons. It is currently set to have 23 episodes, each with a length of 22 minutes.
On September 17th, 2020, Hasbro allegedly attended an online Russian licensing summit where it was announced that a 44-minute special would premiere in Spring 2022, followed by the release of season one of an untitled G5 television show in Fall that year, and season two of that same show the following year.
On February 2nd, 2021, The Motley Fool published an article that said that My Little Pony would be getting a television series, giving us further confirmation of the show following the licensing summit.
On February 25th, 2021, Hasbro held an investor event which reported that the upcoming series would be computer-animated. Further confirmation of the release date from Hasbro's Newsroom reiterated that the series would premiere in 2022.
On March 17th, 2021, Cort Lane made a tweet where he announced that he was an Executive Producer on the upcoming series.
On May 7th, 2021, a job listing was posted for a CG Designer on the series by Atomic Cartoons, confirming the animation studio for it.
On September 17th, 2021, slots reopened for the animation of the series.
On October 14th, 2021, Atomic Cartoons, and its parent company, Thunderbird Entertainment released a PDF for upcoming and currently released shows. My Little Pony was picked up for 23 episodes with 22 minutes in length as well as four specials at 44 minutes in length.
The title for the series was revealed on February 17, 2022.
On April 19th, 2022, a Netflix listing for the series was put up. The listing confirmed the voice actors from My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale would be reprising their roles as well as adding Rob Tinkler to the cast.
