In the garden outside the Crystal Brighthouse, Hitch and Sunny try to pick schmoogleberries to bake into a pie, but they find a RaCcoonicorn and a Pegasnail fighting over the berries. Using his magic ability to talk to animals, Hitch learns the Racoonicorns and Pegasnails are feuding over whom has rights to the berries. When their feud threatens to escalate into all-out war between their races, Hitch intervenes – through song – and suggests establishing a schedule for each race to pick berries for themselves. However, even with Hitch's schedule and rules in place, the raCcoonicorns and Pegasnails use sneaky tactics to seize berries from each other.
Sunny suggests to Hitch that he find out what the racoonicorns and Pegasnails have in common and bring them together in friendship. With Hitch once again as mediator, the racoonicorns and Pegasnails discover that they both love baking and decide to end their feud in favor of sharing the berries. When Hitch and Sunny ask if they can pick some berries for their pie, however, the racCoonicorns and Pegasnails greedily chase them off.
