Jade is a female dragon who first appears as a cameo in Nightmare on Mane Street before officially appearing in the 6th and final chapter of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark along with the other dragons. She and Lava were captured by Opaline in The Isle of Scaly.
Appearance[]
Jade is a classic European Dragon having four legs and a pair of wings and horns. She's mostly pink with blue spikes and claws and tinted horns while her hair is purple. Her wing membranes are pink with white and blue edges on them. Her cutie mark is a blue diamond surrounded by purple and white diamonds.

Chapter 5[]
In Nightmare on Mane Street, Jade first appeared alongside Lava in an image from Opaline, who threatens to take away their dragon magic.
Chapter 6[]
Jade made her debut in The Isle of Scaly, she along with Lava have been captured by Opaline, as Opaline sings them a lullaby, putting them under her mind control and forcing them to put their Dragonfire on the Dragonstone so Opaline can have enough power from their magic to take over all of Equestria, turning them into her servants.
In Roots of All Evil Pt. 1, she, Lava, and Opaline all arrived in Maretime Bay, to finish the job. Opaline successfully of stealing Hitch's cutie mark, including the cutie marks of Diggy and Sander. Jade and Lava bowed down to Opaline and says all of the magic of Equestria is now hers but Opaline says that she is not done yet, but needs four more ponies from Sunny and the rest of her friends (excluding Misty's).
In Roots of All Evil Pt. 2, she, Lava and Opaline went to the Crystal Brighthouse to take Sunny's cutie mark next, but Twilight's protection spell is still protecting the Brighthouse, and Opaline is blow back by the barrier and orders Lava and Jade to break through Twilight's protection spell. Misty lures Jade, Lava and Opaline away from the Brighthouse, Misty hides and revealing to Opaline that she has been working with the Mane 5 against her since Missing the Mark. Opaline manages to get her necklace back and she and the enslaved dragons used Maretime Bay's Together Tree to go to Zephyr Heights and Bridlewood instead. Once in Zephyr Heights, Pipp distracts Opaline and her enslaved dragons with a song and Zipp traps them. But Opaline quickly escapes and takes both Pipp and Zipp's cutie marks. Misty, who has been following Jade, Lava and Opaline to Zephyr Heights, standing up to her for all the abuse and mistreatment that she endured with Opaline who never experienced real friendship with her, and feels bad for her. But Opaline refused, and takes her cutie mark too. In Bridlewood, Izzy and the unicorns fight Opaline by throwing stuff at her and the dragons. Izzy fools Opaline to think that she stole her actual cutie mark, but Izzy tries to escape from Opaline, she quickly stops Izzy from escaping and takes her real one. Back in Maretime Bay, as Sunny observes the Unity Crystals, she realizes that she is the only pony left whose cutie mark hasn't been taken. She tells her friends that she is going to go face Opaline by herself, but she is defeated and loses her cutie mark, stripping her of her Alicorn powers. With all of the magic of Equestria now in her possession, Opaline disables all of Twilight Sparkle's magical protections around Equestria, causing the Unity Crystals from the Brighthouse to lose their power completely. As all hope seems lost, everypony in Equestria starts singing in support of her, causing the rainbow of light of Sunny's red-heart locket that the Breezie gave Sunny in Mane Smelody to react, opens up and restraints Opaline. With Opaline completely immobilized, Sparky takes back everything by using his magic on the Dragonstone against Opaline, taking her own power, freeing Lava and Jade, and the other dragons from her mind control, and returning the cutie marks that she stole from the ponies. With all the cutie mark magic finally restored, the Unity Crystals from the Crystal Brighthouse return to full power. As Opaline's Together Tree continues to grow in expand, Spike teleports himself and his friends out, while Opaline gets trapped and the roots of her own tree steals her own cutie mark, she goes after it to retrieve it, gets sealed inside, ending her threat to Equestria once and for all, and her castle has reduced into ruins. With Opaline finally defeated, Spike and the other dragons reunite with Lava and Jade and their dragon magic is finally restored. They later say goodbye to the Mane 6, returned back home to the Dragon Lands and promised to see the Mane 6 again soon.
