Hasbro, Inc. is an American multinational conglomerate who is most well-known for their toy, board game, and media assets.
Aside from My Little Pony, Hasbro also owns Transformers, Nerf, and Littlest Pet Shop.
Hasbro announced plans to purchase Entertainment One on August 22nd, 2019, and closed the deal on December 30th, 2019. Hasbro plans to use eOne to expand upon their entertainment, and merged their production and distribution company (Allspark or Hasbro Studios) with eOne as a result.
Hasbro also owns Boulder Media, an Irish animation studio which is likely working on the Movie.
