Synopsis[]
The Mane 6 discover a giant egg in the middle of Maretime Bay.
Plot[]
Sunny is flying through Maretime Bay when all of a sudden a giant mystery egg appears in the middle of the street, causing Sunny to run into it.
The Mane 6 begins investigation on the mystery egg. Finding the egg boring and drab, Izzy and Pipp decide to decorate it, while Misty warns everyone about an ancient fire hawk of terrible danger for her spell book. Zipp calls Eggmund Bunny for help, but being a busy father Eggmund couldn't pick up the phone in time. While decorating the egg, Izzy finds hoof prints on the egg with each of the Mane 6's cutie marks on it. After the Mane 6 work together to press each of the hoof prints, the egg activates and inside of it a colorful phoenix appears which rains chocolate eggs all over Maretime Bay. As it turns out, the mystery egg is a gift from Eggmund Bunny, but he just forgot to send the instructions.
