Comet is a male Auroricorn pony in the fifth generation of My Little Pony. He first appeared in the My Little Pony: Make Your Mark special Secrets of Starlight.
Personality[]
Comet is a very friendly individual, as he is more than happy to greet the Mane 6 despite his nervous demeanor. His more distinctive personality trait is that he is extremely clumsy - whether it is tripping or sliding on the ice, or even delivering the Mane 6 an invitation sent by Violet Frost, where he was supposed to sent it a few weeks ago and forgot about it. Nevertheless, he is kind and heroic, wanting to stand up to Allura and save Starlight Ridge from her clutches.
Comet is also shown to have an adventurous side; this is evidenced in the climax of Secrets of Starlight, where he confessed that he always dreamed of seeing the rest of the world, and was excited to join the Mane 6 on their way back to Equestria. Furthermore, it vaguely suggested that, while Comet loves his home of Starlight Ridge, he feels sheltered in living there for all his life.
Appearance[]
Comet is a tall and slender Auroricorn stallion with a slightly effeminate appearance. He has a saturated cyan coat with a long white mane which sweeps to his left that transitions into a deep purple gradient at the tip with sparkles all over the mane. Comet has deep violet eyebrows. He wears deep blue glasses with hexagonal rims. His coat transitions into a desaturated blue at the fetlocks which is also sparkly.
Being an Auroricorn, his horn and hooves are crystalline-like. He wears a bead necklace with many differently shaped crystals on it. Around his horn he has a star shaped crystal on it, with a smaller star shaped crystal hanging from it. His crystal cutie mark is a comet.

Chapter 6[]
First appeared in Secrets of Starlight, Comet welcomes the Mane 6 to Starlight Ridge, with his special cocoas. Comet and Violet explain that Starlight Ridge is celebrating a special day of fun called Starshine Time, and the Mane 6 are excited to take part. While ice skating with the Mane 6, Comet notices that Izzy is struggling on ice, so he teaches her "Trip-Skating". The Mane 6 then tell Violet and Comet all about Equestria, which Comet becomes very interested in visiting.
The Mane 6 return to town and find the Comet and the Auroricorns gathering in the square while in a trance-like state and and pluck the stars out of the sky with their magic. The Mane 6 try and fail to get Comet's attention, but later get him to break out of the hypnosis. After the Mane 6's plan backfired, Comet got put in the hypnosis spell again along with Misty, Izzy Hitch, Sparky, Pipp and Zipp. However, when Comet falls over into a pile of crystal snow, he is briefly released from Allura's control, and Sunny remembers Violet stating earlier that the snow in Starlight Ridge has healing properties. After defeating Allura, Comet chooses to go to Equestria with Mane 6 to explore the world.

Debut in Crystal Ball, he invited the Mane 6 to the Starlight Ridge for the crystal ball.
In Snow Business Like Show Business, Comet joins the Mane 6 on making a movie about the event happened in Starlight Ridge. Later he got interviewed, saying that he's going to love Equestria.
