Blaize Skysong is a female dragon who appears in My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale and My Little Pony: Make Your Mark.
Personality[]
When Blaize is first introduced, she is shown to be cynical and dismissive towards the Mane 6. However, she only acts like this as a defense mechanism, as it is also shown that she truly cares for her kind.
Appearance[]
Blaize is a classic European Dragon having four legs and a pair of wings and horns. Her dragon fire is traditional orange-red flames. She has hot pink tinted horns, underbelly and scales and a short aquamarine mane. Her wing membranes have stripes of orange and aquamarine as well. Her cutie mark is four differently sized diamonds.

Season 1[]
Blaize debuted in the 62nd episode Lavarynth, along with Lava and Tumble. She introduces the lavarynth to the Mane 6. After Mane 6 pass all the tests, Blaize shows her respect to the ponies and welcomes them to the dragon tribe.

My Little Pony: Make Your Mark[]
Chapter 6[]
In The Isle of Scaly, Blaize is the first to welcome the Mane 6 to the Dragon Lands, outraged as to why a group of ponies would visit the lands. When Sunny indicates that the dragons are in danger, Blaize claims that they cannot take any action without the Dragon Lord's permission.
Blaize takes Sunny, Hitch, and Zipp to see Spike, who has become the new Dragon Lord. At first, Blaize is negative and unsure about trusting ponies to help the dragons; which Spike immediately retorts. Fountain quickly makes fun of her, much to Blaize's annoyance.
After Spike's story and Sunny's motivational speech, Blaize continues to hesitate about rescuing Jade and Lava, showing that she is afraid of being controlled and manipulated by Opaline. Thanks to Spike's motivation, Blaize stops being afraid and helps the ponies chase Opaline along with the others.
Like all dragons, in Roots of All Evil Pt. 1, Blaize helps Spike recover the Dragonstone in the dungeons of Opaline's Dark Castle. The dragons' attempts quickly fail, as Opaline discovers and controls them.
In Roots of All Evil Pt. 2, all the dragons are eventually freed from Opaline's mind control following her defeat. Along with Spike and the rest of the dragons, Blaize looks happily at the Mane 6 before flying back to Dragon Lands.
